Abstract | The GOA is reporting to Albertans on the status of the management response to air and surface water trigger exceedances at monitoring stations in the Lower Athabasca Region for the year 2012. This is done under the Air Quality Management Framework for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) and the Lower Athbasca Region Surface Water Quality Management Framework for the Lower Athabasca River and fulfills a commitment made in the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan to initiate a management response when annual assessments indicate that triggers or limits have been exceeded. The monitoring results are found int he 2012 Status of Ambient Environmental Condition report. |
