Report of a study conducted over a two year period in northern Alberta on peatlands at Saulteaux River and Wolf Creek to determine the effect of drainage on substrate moisture content, temperature and tree growth. Growth of trees such as Tamarack and Black spruce showed a positive response to drainage.
