| Abstract | This paper examines ethnohistorical documents in an effort to provide a glimpse into Chipewyan culture during their indirect and direct contact period. It will also question the presently held assumptions concerning aboriginal Chipewyan boundaries, showing that they are based upon a standardized ethnographic error. |
