Abstract

End Pit Lakes are proposed as a final remediation solution for oil sands reclamation and operational waters. The main objective of the CEMA RWG's End Pit Lake Sub-group is to establish design and management guidelines for these oil sands lakes.

Golder Associates was commissioned to model the main factors controlling the occurrence of stratification.
