| Abstract | The study of the fish resources of the Steepbank River was a component of a broadly based program designed to define the baseline states of fish throughout the oil sands region. Investigations on the mainstem Athabasca River as well as the various tributary rivers were all intended to provide an estimate of the significance of each water course to the fish populations. This study of the Steepbank River was conducted in 1977. Detailed objectives for this study are found in the Introduction of the report. |
