The NRBS was launched in response to concerns expressed by northern residents following the late 80's decision of the Alberta Government to allocate additional forest lands for pulp and paper production. The four and one-half year study was mandated to gather and assess information relating to water and ecosystem quality, fish and fish habitat, vegetation, wildlife, hydrology/hydraulics and use of aquatic resources. This report contains key findings, conclusions and recommendations presented to the Ministers representing the governments of Canada, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.</style>
<custom2><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Athabasca River, Peace River, Slave River </style></custom2><custom3><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/38179759</style></custom3><custom4><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">OSEMB</style></custom4></record></records></xml>
